Lower South Coast squash champs crowned

The Halfway Toyota Lower South Coast Squash Championship was played at Port Shepstone Country Club at the weekend.

The hosts produced three champions and a runner-up.

Port Shepstone’s Jarrod van Wyk was the major winner, his all-round game seeing him being crowned this year’s Lower South Coast champion.

His clubmate Prantosh Kalkepersad was the runner-up.

Tracy Nelson from Douglas Mitchell was crowned the 2014 Lower South Coast ladies champion ahead of clubmate and runner-up Amanda Herbet.

The Plate champion and Classic Plate champions were Sachin and Sivy Kalkepersad, both from Port Shepstone.

Paddock players Luke Dunstone and Donovan Peyper were the runners-up in the Plate and Classic Plate respectively.
