Saturday’s Izimbila Enduro Fun Ride at Norwegian Settlers’ Church was well supported and enjoyed by all.
A total of 93 riders supported the Genesis Youth fund-raising event. A few children rode on the kiddies track, older riders rode the intermediate track and the more skilled and experienced riders rode the extreme route.
The 15km track started and finished at the rugby field and included some pretty steep hill climbs, quarry, rock and creek-bed passages. The riders raved about their rides and raised valuable funds for the dedicated group at Genesis Youth.
“We would like to thank all of those who came out today in support of our community outreach project,” said Genesis Youth media relations officer, Megan Harrell.
“We cannot express enough gratitude to the Silver Bullets, Roger Ireland, Louis Boshoff, our Genesis interns, Youth Worx and Youth Alive volunteers, and Lee Kloppers.
“We are so very thankful for our sponsors, Kia, Toyota, WOLF Security, Medivac, Ravine Auto, Qual Chem, Mojo’s, The Beauty Spot, Panarotti’s, Quagga’s Take Aways, KFC and Hans Allison, Performance Leisure, BDM Lubricants, Lake Eland Game Reserve, Wimpy, Royton House Bed and Breakfast, Surf Boys, and Razzle’s Family Steak House.
“Lastly, we would like to say just how thankful we are to be a small part of such an amazing community.”
