RNM sponsors small businesses over R400 000 worth of tools

STATEMENT BY RAY NKONYENI MUNICIPALITY:

At the Port Shepstone Civic Centre on Thursday afternoon, Her Worship the Mayor Cllr Nomusa Mqwebu handed over tools to more than 40 SMMEs and Cooperatives which amounts to over R400 000.

This Small Business Assets and Material handover was meant to encourage small local business people to create job opportunities in the near future and to equip the communities with skills.

The tools handed over were catering equipment, fishing material, crafter development equipment, agricultural tools and sewing machines. SEDA Ugu contributed to the program as well.

    The Mayor is not god and is not worshipped!!
    She’s a citizen like me and you with many character flaws…
    Secondly…the Mun dont have money to repair the infrastructure so they cant use what they dont have to sponsor anybody
    Their only duty is to look after the property of the ratepayers that pay their salaries
