Close to 1000 golfers from across the province will tee it up in the KwaZulu-Natal Inter-Club when the competition gets underway at three South Coast courses on Friday.
Sanctioned by the KwaZulu-Natal Golf Union, the three-day provincial inter-club competition returns to the South Coast this year and promises to produce some quality golf across four divisions.
The cream of the 963-strong crop will kick-start the A and B divisions at Margate Country Club, which will also host the semi-finals and finals on Sunday.
The first round of the Frog Division will be played at Port Shepstone Country Club, while Southbroom Golf Club will serve as the backdrop for Senior Frog Division players on Day One.
“We’re very excited to be hosting the KZN Inter-Club,” Margate Country Club manager Dereck Hirson told eHowz!t.
“Not only is it a great tournament and good business for the clubs, but also for the accommodation and restaurants which the golfers support.”
